About the Journal
Etica-mente. L’annuario (ISSN 2724-3745) is a peer-reviewed annual journal dedicated to moral philosophy and applied ethics.
The journal aims to provide a space for critical reflection on major contemporary ethical issues, particularly those arising from social, political, legal, technological, and cultural transformations. Its objective is to contribute to the analysis and reinterpretation of moral categories shaping contemporary life, with particular attention to the normative tensions generated by technological innovation, institutional change, and new forms of social interaction.
The journal welcomes contributions from a range of philosophical perspectives, including (but not limited to) moral philosophy, political philosophy, philosophy of law, philosophical anthropology, and the philosophy of science and technology. Interdisciplinary approaches are encouraged, provided they are grounded in a solid theoretical framework and oriented toward conceptual clarification or normative evaluation.
Special attention is given to themes such as responsibility, care, vulnerability, justice, autonomy, power, digital ethics, bioethics, environmental ethics, urban ethics, and the ethical implications of scientific and technological developments.
Etica-mente. L’annuario publishes original articles in Italian, English, French, and Spanish. All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process. The journal is published in Open Access under a Creative Commons license.
