2. Categories of Personal Data Processed
The journal’s website may process the following categories of personal data:
- browsing data (IP addresses, access logs, browser and device information);
- data voluntarily provided by users through contact forms or email communications;
- data required for registration and use of the editorial platformOpen Journal Systems (OJS), including name, surname, email address, and institutional affiliation;
- data related to submitted manuscripts, including editorial metadata.
Special categories of personal data under Article 9 GDPR are not processed, except where such data may appear in submitted manuscripts under the sole responsibility of the authors.
3. Purposes of Processing
Personal data are processed exclusively for the following purposes:
- technical and functional management of the website;
- management of the editorial process (submission, peer review, publication);
- institutional and scientific communications of the journal;
- compliance with legal obligations;
- website security and prevention of misuse.
No profiling or marketing activities are carried out.

Data processing is carried out using electronic and telematic tools, in accordance with the principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, and data minimisation.

Personal data are retained for the time strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes for which they were collected, in compliance with applicable legislation.
Data related to published scholarly content are retained for documentation, archiving, and scientific research purposes.

They may be communicated exclusively to authorised parties involved in the editorial process (editors, reviewers, editorial staff) or to technical service providers, strictly within the scope of the stated purposes.

Should such a transfer become necessary for technical reasons, it will be carried out in accordance with Articles 44 et seq. of the GDPR.
