Etica-mente. L’annuario is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal in moral philosophy and applied ethics, published on an annual basis.
The journal is devoted to the critical analysis of contemporary ethical issues, with particular attention to the intersections between ethics, politics, law, technology, urban space, and social forms of life.
The journal aims to provide a space for philosophical reflection capable of bringing together conceptual rigor and attention to practices, promoting critical inquiry that does not reduce ethics to a merely technical or sectorial field, but understands it as a fundamental dimension for interpreting contemporary transformations.
The journal publishes original contributions addressing issues at the intersection of:
- moral philosophy;
- applied ethics (e.g. communication ethics, urban ethics, ethics of technology);
- political and social philosophy;
- transformations of moral experience and forms of life in the contemporary world.
The journal accepts submissions in Italian, English, French, and Spanish.
Etica-mente. L’annuario adopts a double-blind peer review process for all research articles.
The journal adheres to internationally recognized standards of publication ethics and has adopted its own Code of Ethics, inspired by the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), which defines the responsibilities of editors, reviewers, authors, and the publisher.
The journal is recognized for research evaluation purposes by ANVUR (Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes) in Area 11 – Historical, Philosophical, Pedagogical and Psychological Sciences.
The journal is supported by an international Editorial Board, composed of scholars affiliated with European and international universities and research institutions, ensuring the scientific quality and independence of the editorial process.
All contents are published in Open Access and distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0). Authors retain copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication.
