Technology, as a phenomenon encompassing the entirety of humanity, needs the body to transform reality. Technology contributes significantly to the definition of humanity and its supernatural dimension. This supernatural dimension is the peculiar condition of the individual, situated between biological needs—imposed by their body in relation to reality—and their technical and creative capacity. Human life—by virtue of its vocation—is characterized by its unique and unusual condition of intertwining biology and biography. For this reason, human beings are novelists of themselves in the sense that they challenge the limited and already given reality that is also identified with their nature, as we shall see, and create the possible, the imaginary, the virtual in which to project themselves and live always new possibilities of being something more.
